Glimpse Publishing House (“Glimpse,” “we,” “us”) runs glimpsepublishing.com. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it. We collect only what we need to deliver books, gifts, and updates — and we never sell your information.
What we collect
- When you sign up or claim a free gift: your name and email address.
- When you buy something: your name, email, billing and shipping details, and what you ordered. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- When you send a gift or card to someone: the recipient’s name and email address, used only to deliver that gift.
- When you sponsor a project: your name or organization’s name, contact details, and your recognition preferences, including how your name appears on our Wall.
- When you send us feedback: what you write and the contact details you include.
- When you play Find a Glimpse and claim a prize: your name and email, and a mailing address only if the prize is a physical item.
- When you visit the site: standard visit information such as the pages you view, how you arrived, your general location (city or region), and your device and browser type. This comes through Google Analytics, which uses cookies.
How we use it
- To deliver your books, gifts, prizes, and orders.
- To stay in touch as part of the Glimpse Circle. Anyone who signs up, claims a gift, or makes a purchase is added to the free Glimpse Circle and told what it includes. Circle members receive our newsletter and occasional emails about new books, free gifts, projects, and events, and, if you have given us a mailing address, an occasional mailing. We don’t send spam, and we never sell or share your contact details with other marketers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, or by writing to us.
- To show the real impact of our projects, such as book counts and sponsor recognition, only as you have agreed.
- To understand which pages help people, and to improve the site.
Services we rely on
We use trusted services to run the site. Each handles your information only as needed to do its job:
- WooCommerce and Stripe (orders and payments)
- BookFunnel (ebook and audiobook delivery)
- AWeber and Resend (email)
- Supabase and Cloudflare (storing and serving gift, Circle, Wall, and Find a Glimpse records)
- Google Analytics and Google Search Console (site visit statistics)
Cookies
The site uses cookies to keep your cart working, to keep account holders signed in, and for Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site, such as checkout, may not work without them.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@glimpsepublishing.com and we will respond promptly.
Children
Glimpse publishes books for readers of all ages, but this website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it here with a new effective date.
