One mission, two lives touched — a stranger you may never meet, and someone you love. Agents deliver the books. Couriers keep the zones supplied. Sponsors supply the resources. And Glimpse, as the Quartermaster, runs the logistics.
Enlist free and your training mission comes to you: one coded book, your call sign, and six field tags. Place it where hard hours are spent — left to be found or handed to someone directly, both count — and name one person you love, who receives an audiobook in your honour the moment you confirm. That confirmation graduates you into the Glimpse Reserves: the standing roster called first when a sponsor funds a project within your reach, always an offer, never an order. Between call-ups, your tags turn books from your own shelf into six more missions. Every book you give is counted on the Wall.
A Courier runs the field side of one sponsored project — their town, their locations, their handful of Agents. Small on purpose. The Courier receives the project’s carton, hand-delivers kits to their Agents, keeps the locations stocked, and finds the next Agents. Couriers are appointed, never enlisted — drawn from the people a project cannot do without. And if there’s a place already in your heart, tell HQ: appointments begin with exactly that kind of noticing. Privileges of the post: signed copies and the Courier credential.
One Project Care Package puts 250 sponsored physical books into a community through trusted partners, and Glimpse matches the sponsorship with 250 digital book gifts delivered to individuals — 500 gifts, at no cost to any recipient. Your name travels with every one — “Made possible by a gift from ____,” in your exact wording, on the plate inside each book and on screen with each digital claim. Automated reports at 30, 60, and 90 days show exactly where the gifts went: places, photographs, and the count. Sponsorship is cumulative, and the Wall keeps the record. $5,000, once, by check or invoice. The scale can change. The package does not.
